hella jongerius is an industrial designer who has her own studio called jongeriuslab. she is known for combining craft with industrial design, high with low tech and contemporary with traditional techniques. the swatch tables she designed are a new interpretation of a mosaic. they are an interesting combination of wood with multi colored resins (some opaque, some transparent, some glossy, some matte and some in between).
